A Reason Behind the Con Folder Creation in Windows

We can not create folder with con,aux, nul because these are reserved keywords used by DOS. so if u r allowed to create such folders, there will be an ambiguity in where to write data when the data is supposed to go to the specified devices. In other words, if i want to print something, internally what windows does is -- it will write the data to the folder prn (virtually u can call it a folder, i mean prn, con, etc are virtual folders in device level). So if we are able to create con folder, windows will get confused where to write the data, to virtual con folder or real one.

Increase Mozilla Firefox Speed

                                              

Using Firefox you can decrease the time each web page you visit by enabling pipelining. Pipelining will make Firefox load more than one request at a time for each page it loads. In other words if the page you are visiting has dozens of images it will load more than one image at a time, making the web page appear faster.
Follow the below steps to enable pipelining in Firefox.

1. In the address bar type about:config and press enter.
2. In pipelining in the search box, as shown below.
3. Double-click network.http.pipelining to set the Value to true.
4. Double-click network.http.proxy.pipelining to set the Value to true.
5. Make sure network.http.pipelining.maxrequests is set to a value of more than 30.
6. Right-click in an empty portion of the about:config window and click New and thenInteger. Enter nglayout.initialpaint.delay as the name of the integer and for the value make it 0.

There are lots of tricks to perform using notepad....before moving to that..lets have a simple glance with tricks on notepad itself..

TO ACCESS NOTEPAD GO TO START , CLICK ON RUN & TYPE NOTEPAD & CLICK OK.

THIS TRICK IS CALLED 4335 RULE TRICK...ANY INFO WRITTEN IN IT WITH WORDS CONTAINING 4  LETTERS  IN FIRST WORD 3 IN SECOND  N THIRD AND 5 IN LAST WORD..BECOMES TO HAPPEN DISAPPEARED.U CAN WRITE UR OWN TEXT IN PLACE.
NOTE:THIS TRICKS DONOT WORK IN WINDOWS 8 AND 8.1

1. Open Notepad.
2. Type in Q33N.
3. Change the font size to 72 by clicking on Format and selecting Font in the Menu Bar.
4. Also select Wingdings as your Font.
5. Click on OK to see the trick.

 Note: Change back to your default font.\

WINDOWS & LOGIN BACKGROUND

note:this works with win7 only

Step 1: Open the Windows Start menu and enter regedit into the search bar.

Step2: Right click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and select Find.

Step 3: Search for OEMBackground, which should be in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background. If the key does not exist, add a new DWORD value with the name OEMBackground.

Step 4: Double click on the entry OEMBackground, and change the value from 0 to 1.

Step 5: Open Windows Explorer and go to the following path: c:\window\system32\oobe\info\backgrounds(If you cannot find info and backgrounds, Create them!!) // In this case assumtion is Windows installation Drive is c:!!

Step 6: Rename your desired wallpaper as backgroundDefault.jpg and place it inside the folder backgrounds (images must be less than 245KB in size).

Now your Windows login Page will have a new background!!!!! Njy!!

REMOVING WINDOWS & ULTIMATE FROM LOGIN SCREEN

Removing “Windows 7 Ultimate” from Login Screen!!

File respoinsible for login screen : C:\windows\Branding\Basebrd\basebrd.dll

We just need to Rename it! In my case I renamed it to basebrd_bak.dll, But renaming it is not as easy

as u think!! it will need you to take permissions and Ownerships.
So Lets Start:

Step 1: Right Click on C:\windows\branding\basebrd\basebrd.dll and goto Properties > Security Tab.
You can See that we have the permission of Read & Execute only. We need to get Full Control to
Rename the File.
Note: If you will try to take Permission from Edit Button, It will be Disabled.
Reason: Owner of the File is “Trusted Installer”

So You Need to take the Ownership of the file, For that:
Step 2: Goto Advanced > Owners > Click on edit to change the Current Owner.
Step 3: Select your User as New Owner

Step 4: Click ok… ok.. ok.. and Restart the Properties > Security.
Now you can Take Full Control via Edit Button.
Step 5: Rename basebrd.dll to basebrd_bak.dll and Bazinga!!!
Windows 7 Ultimate is gone from Login Screen!! Happy cracking!!
